Aaron Slater

Aaron Slater is a self-taught glass artist who began his journey in 2001. His artistic inspiration stems from a childhood fascination with tinkering and a profound experience snorkeling the Palancar reefs of Mexico. He specializes in flameworked glass spheres, commonly known as marbles, finding beauty in the intersection of natural patterns, geometry, and organic life. Slater is recognized for his intricate reef marbles and actively uses his art to raise awareness about coral bleaching events. He currently works from his studio in Lowell, MA.
