2 Stroke

Christopher McElroy, known professionally as 2 Stroke, is a glass artist renowned for his unique "Heliocoileh" patterning technique, which creates colorful, psychedelic, textile-inspired designs on his one-of-a-kind pipes and rigs. He earned his BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MFA from The University of Washington. McElroy has taught flameworking at prestigious institutions such as the Corning Museum of Glass and Pilchuck Glass School. His work, which includes a range of functional and sculptural pieces, is influenced by color relationships in nature, avant-garde fashion, and ceremonial objects from various cultures.
